You know the story. Dream kept a dark apple hidden from Nightmare. And finally, in desperation to understand his dear brother's pain, he ate the dark apple in front of Nightmare and turned into a dark creature with tentacles that have the strength of whole armies. Nightmare takes his unconscious brother back to his castle and keeps him in the dungeon until he can find a way to cure his beloved little brother, and fix everything that he'd done wrong to their relationship that led to this.
