It's ten years in the future, the world is rapidly changing. New technology, new theories, easier lives. But there were downfalls, all countries are under dictatorship. The U.S. is now part of the Central and South American countries. Wars are raging all over the globe, and brave warriors like Tabitha are in battle to protect their land, and to gain more for the Government. After being horribly injured in battle Tabitha looses most of her memory, but that isn't what's bugging her. They have worse problems on their hands, cannibalistic humans with no sense of humanity, also known as zombies. A ZOMBIE NOVEL Viewer discretion is advised for gore. This is a "No Swearing" book.

I ran as fast as my feet would carry me. My lungs gasped for oxygen. I knew I had to stop, but he could still be following me. I pushed myself harder. I needed to get away, far away. From him. From this. I remember I just woke up one day, and went to work as usual. I drove my squad car around town on patrol, but I saw bodies. Bodies everywhere. They were dead bodies, but they weren't still on the ground. They were walking around. As if they had re-animated. I shook away the memories from the day it started all those weeks ago and focused on my running. It was almost sunrise and I figured I could stop soon. As soon as I knew I was safe. But I know now that I had fooled myself. In this new world, you can never be safe. I'm Katie Greene, and this is the apocalypse.
