Dating is already difficult in its own right. But imagine if you didn't always have control of your body at all times. Imagine if you had multiple people with the ability to front at any moment. This story follows Beomgyu as he starts dating Soobin, a man with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). While Beomgyu doesn't know this about Soobin at first, this story shows how they navigate their new relationship while Soobin tries to embrace all of his alters. No, it is not a disorder. To me, at least, it is not. It is more like a coping mechanism to help oneself deal with all the negativity of this world and it takes courage... lots of courage... especially if you have undergone traumatic experiences in your childhood. So yeah, dissociative identity disorder is never a disorder for me, I just don't feel right calling it that way.

Dissociative identity disorder, also know as multiple personality disorder, is a mental handicap characterizing the presence of two or more personalities in one body. This disorder has less then 200,000 known cases per year, one of those cases being Jordan Maron. When he is told to write down his thoughts, not only do his other personalities show, the truth shows too. *Please Note: I realize that MPD is a serious disorder, and is not something to be joked about. Everyone suffers no matter how much we think we're alone, there maybe someone out there more disconnected from the rest of the world. If you had the power to help the other and didn't take it does that make you a bad person? If you had one chance to correct the world would you take it? If you were given one power what would it be? No matter what choice you make it will come haunting back to you. The good the bad there's a fine line between what people perceive as good and bad it's up to you to decide that.

I have DID or Dissociative Identity Disorder... and that is what this story is about. It's about my personal journey learning about myself and living my life with five other people. It was tough to write so I hope you like it..... This is my life but I changed the names in it for everyone's safety.! I really hope this doesn't suck! Enjoy!

While some persons with BPD are high functioning in certain settings, their private lives may be in turmoil." ~~~ They say the term "borderline" came from a time when doctors used to believe the illness bordered between psychosis and neurosis. Now, they believe the illness should be called Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. The illness doesn't need a clear name for me to understand what it is.
