Short Story
This is set in a post-apocalyptic world. The protagonist Amara is one of the individuals who have been born in the trenches of the 'Underground.' That is a society of people who live beneath the world and use machinery and labour to keep the world working for the people living above. There are long narrow streets that go up forever leading to what they call 'The Upside'. Amara has always been curious about wanting to climb up there, longing to see the upside. She befriends a boy named Cameron and they venture on climbing all the way up to the upside, oblivious to the problems along the way.

Rebecca Alingston decides to forcefully transform Dillon into a super robot which will be known as H.O.P.E. As part of her plan, Hope will save humankind and Earth, then later in the future will save her. After the transformation Hope turns out to have a partial amnesia and doesn't remember about his past person. Now he will try to find out who he is and why is he programmed to save humanity. In his journey he finds a friend, Evans an optimist person who will literally change his life forever.Complete

All she finds herself doing is training, waiting, and hoping that something happens. So, when Rick Grimes and his group enter the CDC wanting help, it seems like her prayers were answered. Leaving the building and stepping into a walker-infested world after losing what's left of her family isn't the easiest thing to do, but she has a new group of people ready to help her. But still, something for the pain would always help, and the boy with the pretty eyes seems like a good enough distraction.
