Verity Moretta has never lived a normal life. Being raised in an orphanage wasn't even the half of it. Hardest was the special ability she had to read people's thoughts that pertained or were directed at her. As a child her guardians called her the 'truth seeker' giving her the name Verity with the Latin origin meaning 'truth'. She tried to have a normal life. Graduated high school, went to college and graduated with a degree in Veterinary medicine. But keeping up the façade of a normal life came to a crashing halt when she fell asleep on a camping trip with friends and woke up tied in an unknown location. What ties could she possibly have to Sam Winchester and the other 'special' people brought to the same location? Can she use her growing abilities to find the truth?

"We're falling apart and I hate it!" I yelled, tears welling up in my eyes. "I want to hate you! I want to hate you for selling your soul to save me! I want to hate you for not caring about your own life enough to try and save it! I want to hate you for all of this. But I can't! I won't!" "It would be easier if you did!" Dean yelled back. "So just hate me already! Hate me! Leave me! Whatever you have to do to get through this! Just do it!" "Just...I don't want you to die." My voice faltered. "Please, Dean. Please. I just can't take this anymore." His eyes softened as he stepped forward and wrapped me in his arms. "I'm sorry, angel. I really am." "I can't deal with all of this on my own." "Yes, you can." Dean said. "You are so much stronger than you think. Believe me." ___ Saige Dawson's world was crashing down around her now. Not only was she slowly learning more about the curse she carried within her, but she realized just how bad things could get if she fell into the wrong arms. She also was trying to cope with the fact that she had died. That Sam had died. That because of that, Dean had sold his soul to a demon and was damned to burn in hell for eternity if she couldn't save him within a year. Time was running out and she was scared. She also has to learn how to tap into the power within her. She wasn't sure whether the power was good or bad and that alone made her want to ignore it, but she couldn't. She had to dig deep. To save Dean. To save herself. To find out what she truly is.

Alexis Hart or Smith, as she prefers, grew up learning to hunt the things that go bump in the night. It was her life. She was taught it was the only thing that mattered. She never knew what normality felt like, she didn't even know what it was like to be a normal hunter. That was until she met Dean Winchester. At the age of thirteen Alexis was on a hunt with her father, he went out and said he'd be back in a little bit. Then when he didn't show up or even call Alexis knew what had happened. She was stuck here and after a few days of sitting in the motel room she decided to check out the supposedly haunted house where she met the fourteen year old Dean Winchester. She'd never met a hunter her age before. She hadn't met many hunters at all. Over the course of a week and a half the two grew close, bonding over the fact they both grew up hunting. Dean had even introduced her to his little brother Sam. When John came back from his hunt Dean did something Alexis had least expected. He asked of she could stay with them, seeing she had no where else to go. John pitied her and let her tag along. Now, almost thirteen years later dean and Alexis are still best friends. They still hunt together. And when John goes missing Alexis is determined to help Dean find his father. Dean and Alexis break into Sams college apartment in hopes of convincing him to help them. Alexis also has to figure out what these weird dizzy spells she keeps getting are. What happens when she starts to think they are more than just dizzy spells? And all the while learning to accept that she might just have feelings for the hunter that gave her a chance thirteen years ago. Disclaimer: I do not own supernatural.
