Her world wasn't supposed to implode. 
Evil was supposed to stay evil, and the good, good. 
Girl's named after gems weren't supposed to hand out hope like lollipops. 
None of it was how it should be. 
And yet...

She is the embodiment of hope and effort. When she's brought into place filled with professional assassins', brilliant minds, exuberant personalities, and their secret agendas, she can't help but be drawn in. The potential for adventure, meeting people filled with tragedy and humor, pursuing the answers to deaths - her parents' among the deceased -, and passionately helping a crowd of unique people in any way she can. When the cards are dealt out, she hopes she was handed the ones with as many answers as the questions they ask. 
 This is the story of a Ruby, shining and bright, illuminating the darkest nights in a universe of secrets.
