Panicked, Astrea slid out her father's dagger, not sure how this strange girl knew who she and Dorin were. Just as the mysterious dark-haired girl turned away, Astrea threw the hilted dagger, letting it sink right into the young woman's shoulder blade. 

"Was that meant to hurt?" the girl scoffed while pulling the knife out of her shoulder.

Her shoulder glowed faintly and the blood dried up as if it was never there. She leapt out the window looking back for a millisecond. She knocked on the wall twice; one soft and one loud. And she left Astrea with her own thoughts.

"Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area.
