Frostvine High is a school meant for special students: only those born into families able to use magical abilities can enter the island where it's located. And that is only once they turn sixteen.
But magic school is the last place where Alice wants to be. Staying home and waiting three years for her older brother's graduation had already been dreadful... and she can't fathom the idea of having to do it all over again.
