College dropout cat , grieving crocodile , energetic dog and quiet bear. All of them lost in their own ways, all with broken pasts and uncertain futures. Four friends in the old run down town of Possum Springs,where the lows are low and the highs are.....decent I guess.

Mere days, mere weeks ago Mae had returned home, dropping out of college, trying to find security in her mind, searching for formality and comfort.

Failing to socialise, trying to be friends, trying to stay sane.

Reunited with friends and family she tries to piece it all back together....that was until that fateful night at Harfest.

Now it was over.

Or so they thought.

Mae still can't sleep.

And when she does she wish she doesn't.

She is plagued with dreams of gods, the world phasing in and out, sometimes all she can see are shapes.

Too many shapes.

Can Mae's friends discover the root of their friends pain and anger or will Mae's mind be left to rot like the town she lives in?
