David is absent from Camp Campbell for the week due to personal reasons, leaving Gwen as the only counselor to look after the kids. Things take a turn for the worst when something happens to Max during a rock climbing activity. I'm a new Camp Camp fan, with different opinions compared to a chunk of the fandom. But if there's one thing I do agree with in the fandom (at least with most people who have a brain), it's that ANY shipping of a child and adult is fucking gross and whoever ships MaxGwen\Maxvid or whatever deserves a fate worse than death.

Max's parents never came for parent day, was it really that surprising when they didn't come to pick him up at the end of the year? David offers his couch, unknowing that it would lead to something bigger - and better - than he could have ever imagined. Everything is going smoothly until an invitation shows up in the mail. Can the small family David created for himself survive the family he left behind? Can Max and David go back to camp without making a scene? Can Gwen finally put those wedding magazines she keeps hidden under her bed to good use? Read to find out! This is strictly dadvid and gwenvid.

He's hiding things, and there's someone on his phone he just can't seem to stop talking to. David has a secret to keep, and Max is determined to pry it out of him. What he finds, though, is worse than anything he could have possibly imagined. He falls into a spiral of paranoia. Surrounded by ghosts of the past, enemies at every turn, and the realization that he can't trust anyone, Max finds that David is only one side of a double-edged sword. (Takes place after season 2, episode 1)

A camp camp story! When Max gets back from Camp Campbell, he goes back to his abusive parents, who don't give a shit about him. After a few days of being there, he's had enough, and runs back to the closed camp. When David goes there to check the camp, like her does every fall, and see's Max there. When he try's to take Max home, Max refuses, and says he's staying at home because he can't take being there anymore, and David being David, try's to put his positive twist on it, but what's David going to do when he realizes it's not going to work on Max?
