While in the Commander seat he is quickly realizing what his father have gotten Iron Blood into. He is only an interim position. But he has to figure out what leads to go by, mature quickly, and potentially overthrow his father which could be seen as mutiny.

After a long struggle to get his life started, Jacob makes his way to a Naval base known as Azur Lane, made up of the Eagle Union camp and Royal Navy camp. Realizing that his goal matched theirs, he worked with Azur Lane to accomplish his goal. Selfish? Yes, but those in Azur Lane didn't mind considering Jacob's past. A while later, those of the Eagle Union and Royal Navy camps decided to make Jacob their commander, which Jacob agreed to. A while after that, through a bit of struggles, Jacob convinced the Sakura Empire, as well as the Iron Blood camp, to join back with Azur Lane. Their struggle in combatting a deadly force, beings from another world known as Sirens, is not an easy one. Many times has Jacob almost been brought to his knees by them, once when he was only at the age of twelve. These Sirens attacked and destroyed Jacob's village, killing everyone he held dear to him at the time. The reason for this attack is vague, not even Jacob fully knows why the Sirens attacked his village, except for the fact that his father did something to anger the Sirens. Exactly what his father did...is unknown. What's in store for Jacob and Azur Lane? No one knows. Who will win the war? Will it be Azur Lane, through their struggles to rid the Sirens from Earth and claim the seas back from the Sirens, or will the Sirens prevail and conquer Earth, and most likely put an end to humanity as we know it? Find out here in the continuation of "Azur Lane: A Fight Against the Sirens!" *Note, this is book 2 of my Azur Lane series!!* *Disclaimer: I do not own any characters from Azur Lane, nor do I hold claim to any pictures, videos, or music used in this story, for they are claimed by their rightful owners. -Book one- When the war between Azur Lane and the Red Axis broke out, a person led their fleet into the fray. The fleet, lesser known by many, has achieved great feats through its time out at sea and continues to impress as the battles go by. The person, unlike his subordinates, is only human. Yet knowing how weak his body is in comparison, he continues to push both his limits and luck to the brink as he leads his ships with efficiency like no other. Assigned to command the Maple Monarchy's fleet in Azur Lane, William Thompson would prove his worth through tactics and victory. His calm and devoted mentality would lead his fleet through hurdles without faltering. The strong and compassionate image he would display quickly gained the respect of all who followed him. Yet one aspect he did not expect was to take on that of a parental role. Though not consistent, now and again he would find a ship in need, one who was simply confused, or others who had lost their way. These ships, though as tough as you may think, still had weaknesses. With trouble understanding their place in life, and the emotions they faced, William would help guide them through. The ships were taught how to manage their lives, and to understand their limits. He proved to them they were not simply machines, but closer to humans than they ever thought. With their trust and grit, he would lead them all through the hardships they'd face. A victim of minor depression, he kept these feelings to himself for a long time until he discovers a seemingly fictitious game called Azur Lane. After knowing the game is real all along, he tried his best to find the answer he was looking for a long time by joining Azur Lane and become a Commander of his own fleet. As he does his job as one, the unexpected moment came to him as a new ship girl named Enterprise joined in his fleet. What would be the outcome as they spend their time together in their daily lives? Is Enterprise the answer that Earl was looking for? Read the story and find it out yourself.
