Hunter, shadow, assassin, monster. She has been called all of these things. Oracle is no stranger to the dark, to the solitary life of a Bounty Hunter. She follows orders and gets paid. It is a simple as that, or so she thought. When the order comes for her to kill one of her own, dangerous secrets are brought to life. A villain has been working in the shadows, using Bounty Hunters to do their dirty work, killing those who stand in his way. A new plan to start a war has surfaced, a war that may prove more dangerous than the last.
Now Oracle must go up against those she saw as allies, fighting for her life every step of the way. The game of war is a dangerous one where every soldier, every plan, every betrayal is a piece in the board, and they do not play it carefully Oracle may see her planet fall.
Anakin Skywalker knows that Obi-Wan Kenobi did not choose him as an apprentice. Instead, it was the dying wish of Obi-Wan's own Master, Qui-Gon Jinn, that brought them together. Now, Anakin is beginning to doubt his Master's commitment... and Obi-Wan is starting to wonder if he will ever be as good as a Master as Qui-Gon.
With these things in mind, Master and apprentice head out on a training exercise that soon turns into a struggle to survive. A squad of bounty hunters has been hired to capture the Jedi - and they will stop at nothing to do it. Anakin and Obi-Wan must avoid the traps and ambushes... and try to discover who is behind the deadly Jedi hunt.
