Unmarked

Arabella is a teenage girl who isn't like the others. She views her life as the 'same old boring routine'. She's more of a private person; who rather chooses to be independent, and visualizes the charters from her books as her only friends. She's an outcast; no one really bothers her. Yet what makes her more different is that she's unmarked....
When you're born you're born with a mark; They call it the emblem. The emblem basically determines your whole future. When turning to a certain age you're sent to a place called The Center where they ( the government) scan your emblem, and tell you a good luck or a 'welcome to the family' nod. Your emblem can only choose two lives. You can have a healthy human life, or ( as they like to call it) have a blood sucking immortal monstrous life. But since Alice is unmarked what are her options?
