Every year there is a drawing in which 10 lucky ladies are chosen to learn to be proper ladies of higher society and will elevate their social standing. What happens when Audrey is chosen as one of those ladies. Will she feel she has been blessed by being able to advance her standing, or will she see it as only being cursed?
