Amelia's life is shattered when a tragedy befalls her. All she ever wanted to do was escape from her reality. The trauma she faced gnawed at her, eating up her soul day after day. Locking herself up and starving herself to death wasn't enough to make the pain go away. All it did was hurt those around her.
And so she decides to escape to another country.
A place where no one knew her nor could bother her. A place where she would be left alone without people constantly worrying over her. A place she could start anew.
What she did not expect was to actually find salvation. A reason for her to move forward. Friends as important as life and perhaps a love that could save her from drowning.
Adrien Valentin was anything but good. He paid attention to no one and not a single soul had a leash on the school's delinquent except one. The love of his life who was the girlfriend of his best friend.
Broken and dwelling in the darkness, the last thing he needed was babysitting a foreigner. And that's precisely where he finds himself in. Amelia Brooke; the definition of gloomy.
Neither get along, and their very existence annoys the crap out of each other. So what's Adrien going to do when sparks start flying and his locked heart starts beating once more for the girl he despises?

This is my first story sooo🤨 He was cold, ruthless, and killed. There was no doubt that people feared him, he was the mafia don for crying out loud, yes although he had looks that killed he was so dangerously handsome but some people thought that he wasn't human for how evil he was, but someone in particular caught his eye, someone that...changed him, Amelia. She was a shy stuttering mess cause of all the trauma he parents caused, but she made it seem like everything was fine, she was nice. Gorgeous too, one look at her and her parents you would think to yourself "little miss perfect and her perfect family" yes they were very wealthy, that doesn't mean that she had a perfect life, it was quite the opposite really. ... "Damon! What did you do!" I cried, my heart sunk, I've never felt so hurt. "Do you not understand what they did to you Amelia!" Damon shouted. I've never felt so many strong negative emotions, but I couldn't stop loving him. He saved me from the monsters that I loved, and I hated him for it. Faded Memories

She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision.
