Darren is a Basset Retriever who lived a normal life while being the most responsible in taking care of the whole house.
He lived in a world where the people rely on their 'abilities' and who come to be the strongest rules an entire civilization. "The weak serve the strong."
Darren was known to be having no some sort of ability,Maybe because he wasnt so interested or just didnt have an actual ability since birth or maybe he hasnt discovered his ability yet. Mostlikely he doesnt have an ability.
His grandparents wanted to set Darren and his brother on a journey to discover their own abilities,
But Darren wasn't too sure about the idea, since he has no ability. But their forced to so he had no choice but to.
Darren will meet new friends and enemies while on his journey with his brother. Some will join their journey. And maybe a partner..

Mark always knew who he could trust with all his secrets, who would walk with him, and who was out to get him. Being able to read minds had it perks but overall, it kind of sucked. Just having those constant voices in your head, yelling, whispering, just talking. It drove him mad. Mark was still an optimist, no matter what life threw at him. The red-haired kid that you would either see with a smile or a look of impatience, who stayed behind in empty classrooms for three minutes and only having two more minutes to run across the school the next classroom.
