It wasn't supposed to happen, but it did. No one could know, especially not her Father. He was best friends with the man, for fuck sake. It was a mistake, she told him, a mistake that could never happen again.
Robin Castle grew up a military child, always staying at her grandparents until she was eight. Frank married his wife, and then Robin only stayed at her grandparents on the weekends.
It was hard. Frank missed out on a lot of stuff, but always made up for it when he came back. And then, when Robin was sixteen, she was introduced to a man with jet black hair and a smile that held mischief under its kind demeanor.
It wasn't supposed to happen. He picked her up from college when she was nineteen, they were home alone in Frank's house. A mistake, she told him as they quickly got dressed after hearing a car door.
He was deployed again, along with Frank, a week later. She felt guilty, she felt even more worried. She had hugged them both, along with Curtis before they left.
It was hard sometimes.
DISCLAIMER: This story has explicit language, sexual content, drugs and alcohol use.
This story is a fanfiction of The Punisher, so the characters you recognize DON'T belong to me. Some details may be changed to match my plot, so if you don't like that, bye.
*I know the description sucks. Read the prologue, please.
*This doesn't have a set year. I guess we'll put it in 2020? But, I will not be participating in 2020's version of the Hunger Games. Therefore, all of the issues in 2020 will be suddenly gone and this will be a happy story to make you smile. Hopefully.
*This is technically romancing a relationship with a pretty large age gap (16 years to be exact, according to my calculator). She's nineteen (I've decided this after writing the prologue) while he's thirty-five. So, if you're not into that, bye. IT'S OF COURSE, 100% COMPLETELY CONSENSUAL AND LEGAL.

"Alright, I'll start with an introduction to me and all the people I'm gonna tell you about, so errrr, welcome, I guess? I'm Cassie Langer, I'm seventeen, and I'm an aspiring fashion designer doing my senior year at Crestville High in some town in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. I won't bore you with the long-winded description of what I look like, this isn't My Immortal and my name isn't Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cassie always faded into the background of life, mostly only interacting with her inner circle of close friends and seeing herself invisible to everyone else at Crestville High, and that's how she likes it. So imagine her surprise when her former friend and long-time crush - kind-hearted jock Ryan Park - decides to reconnect with her. As Cassie's growing connection with Ryan draws more attention to her, she starts gaining the confidence to take on her bullies and break out from her shell.
However as she grows closer to Ryan, her close and protective childhood friend Chad Hills starts showing his own feelings for Cassie. Will she continue seeing where things go with her self-described "perfect man", or find herself falling harder for her best friend.
This is the first of a series. I decided not to dump the entire story that I have planned out into one and split it into several different ones. So consider this as Cassie Book #1. This story as well as the series as a whole blends silly humor, cuteness, and also some pretty dark storylines, if you're into that kind of stuff.
Also, this book makes use of music, so every chapter has a song that correlates with the story being told. I do not own any of the music or song lyrics used and every song used is linked in the chapter, all rights belong to the artists and composers :)
