Robin Castle grew up a military child, always staying at her grandparents until she was eight. Frank married his wife, and then Robin only stayed at her grandparents on the weekends.
It was hard. Frank missed out on a lot of stuff, but always made up for it when he came back. And then, when Robin was sixteen, she was introduced to a man with jet black hair and a smile that held mischief under its kind demeanor.
It wasn't supposed to happen. He picked her up from college when she was nineteen, they were home alone in Frank's house. A mistake, she told him as they quickly got dressed after hearing a car door.
He was deployed again, along with Frank, a week later. She felt guilty, she felt even more worried. She had hugged them both, along with Curtis before they left.
