In our world there is the good and the bad, the beautiful and the terrible. James is the story of 15 year old Liberty Scott who is forced into a situation involving a white van where the only beautiful thing in her life, the only reason she fights to survive is a simple yellow flower from a boy willing to die for her.
"I noticed that I kept looking over my shoulder, I don't know what I was looking for. Did I want someone to be there or didn't I? Did I long for the reassurance of someone being there, so I didn't feel alone and vulnerable? Or did I fear that someone would be there and wonder what they would be doing out here, alone, so late at night, walking silently behind me?"

I never thought my life would be like this; trapped in a dark room and scared for my life. A blindfold was wrapped around my head, covering my eyes, making me completely blind and on high alert. My breathing was ragged and I could smell the mold that was most likely covering most of the room.
