Vincenzo Lazzara, is a deaf 18 year old boy who lives on no ordinary block. A strange tale of a girl that plays in the shadows of graveyards has been passed down for centuries by the generations on his block. Sitting on the edge of his block lies a decrepit graveyard which all the younger children are terrified of. One day walking to the bus, Vincenzo spots a girl playing in the graveyard at the end of his block, and witnesses her vanishing before his eyes. He struggles to comprehend what he has just seen, and seeks out the help of Dr.Brown. a distinguished psychologist, who explains to him that the shadow girl is slowly fading away into nonexistence. When Vincenzo finds himself falling in love with her, he must find a way to save her before she's gone forever.
