Riveroak Preparatory is a prestigious school for the gifted and elite. Students from across the country flock to this exclusive school to better their lives and prepare them for the next step. Like any high school, it has its cliques, and ruling at the top was none other than Victoria Caldwell who went missing the middle of junior year. 

With the second semester looming, transfer student Elena Ramos comes in ready for a fresh start, but when the body of Victoria is found by the bay of the elite preparatory school her smooth transition seems less likely to happen. Especially because she's living in Victoria's old dorm. 

As Elena begins to investigate the murder she realizes that this elite school might not be all it is cracked up to be. Secrets will be brought to light, lies will be exposed, and the skeletons of Riveroak Prep are bound to come out of the closet.
