When Harper Davis begins to fall for Jack Pemberley, she must overcome her fear of kissing once and for all.

---

Philemaphobia [fil-uh-muh-foh-bee-uh] is defined as an extreme fear of kissing, smooching, snogging - really anything to do with lip-touching. This fear is found most commonly in teenagers and most definitely in Harper Davis.

Harper dreams of one day being in a relationship like the ones in all her favorite movies and books- if she can ever get over her fear of kissing. Ever since eighth grade and an embarrassing run in with a chocolate kiss, Harper has been paralyzed by even the idea of kissing someone. But when Jack Pemberley walks into her life, Harper decides it might be time to look her fear in the face. . . More specifically the lips.

That is until her irrational phobia ruins a perfect opportunity for a kiss with Jack. When word gets around, Harper is thrust into a school-wide bet. Because if Jack, deemed the most eligible man of Franklin High, couldn't get Harper to kiss him, then who can? With more than a thousand dollars on the line, and the title of most eligible man, the men of Franklin High will stop at nothing to get Harper to kiss them and win the Kissing Game.

She'd die for love. He didn't believe in love. *** From reading The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, to watching 10 Things I Hate About You, to listening to You are in Love by Taylor Swift, Emily Kingsley's life is a sum of moments she has spent after romance. Watching, reading, listening or daydreaming, romance has never failed to comfort this high school junior of 17 years of age. She has her own issues: self-sabotage, lack of focus in studying, randomly popping up acne and not loving the way she looked. But she could forget all that as long as she is reading about two people falling in love and finding their happily ever after. Emily wants a romance for herself too, and she knows just the person for it. Landon McArther, a senior in her school. According to Emily, Landon is handsome, sophisticated, well-spoken and unlike any of the immature boys of her class who didn't get her at all. Landon was everything Emily has always dreamed about and moreover he appreciates her for the person she is. But there's just a teeny-tiny problem. Landon McArther has a girlfriend. While that wasn't in Emily's bingo card, she hopes, prays, and longs for the day Landon will be single (because he is Emily's soulmate, and he has to be) and awaits her chance for romance. At the same time, her seatmate in chemistry, the rumored delinquent, grumpy asshole Nathan Callahan, makes fun of her romantic dreams. Can Emily ever find true love? Completed. Bad boys/ players. I hate them, they think they can just walk around and get any girl they want. Well hello, not every single fucken girl is interested in you, alright. Okay, well unless you look like a hot, Greek God or something, then every girl will most likely be interested in you. It's just a part of life and high school. A lot of girls at my new school, are head over heels with this one guy... okay maybe two guys. Sean Anderson the major player, he tried to get me on the first day. I had hit him, and left him standing there. Then there's Chase Evans, major hottie girls, warning: he breaks hearts. Everyone loves him, guys want to be like him, and the girls all want him. Me, well I just think he's an annoying ass! Meet Aurora Hayes, a feisty seventeen year old girl with a love for swearing. She has a mind of her own, and she doesn't give a fuck what people think of her... okay well maybe she does a little. Aurora never would've thought in her entire life that she would have guys in love with her, let alone four of them. Mike Thompson, Sean Anderson, Jonathan Anderson and Chase Evans. So how is it that all the guys want her? Who will she fall for and who will be left heartbroken? There will be laughs, there will be tears, love will happen, and hearts will be broken. Because this can only end one way, right? [There's A LOT of swearing (it's her character so get over it) you've been warned.] [Will be re-writing + editing next year sometime!] [Un-edited!] #4 in Teen Fiction || 21/9/15 Cover designed by: @heartsick

Read OUR CHEMISTRY to discover the cute incidents of an ordinary teenage couple! *** "Do you like sleeping?" He said. I nodded. "Me too! We should do it together sometime." He smirked, challenging me to say a better pickup line. When I didn't say anything he laughed. "Are you a scientist? Cause I would do you on a table, periodically." He whispered in my ear, his deep voice vibrating in my mind. I blushed. I shook my head and looked at him. Rolling my eyes ever so slightly and smiling seductively while flicking his nose, I said, "Gosh, You have such a dirty mind." He blushed for a moment at the sudden touch on his nose, but the smirk eventually came back. "I don't have a dirty mind, sweetheart.
