Life is full of cliches. At least that's how it is for Vanessa Santiago. Vanessa is you're average Asian, preppy, friendly girl. She's always optimistic and knows just what to say or at least that's how it seems. But what others don't know is that she's broken. She suffers from depression and anxiety attacks and she's super insecure.
When Vanessa suddenly enters middle school, she gets tangles up in rumors and crushes and bullies. What happens when a guy enters her life and tries to get her to open up?
