A Letter for Mom

Back in college, I was staying in my aunt's house. She was cleaning some old photos and files. We were looking at the random yellowish pictures scattered on the floor. Then she handed me a paper. It was brownish and a little crumpled. I carefully opened the delicate paper that was over two decades ago. I noticed there were hand written words on it but didn't realize it was a letter until I started reading it. The blue ink is starting to fade and some words were missing but manage to finish it.
It pierced my heart knowing that it was a letter that my mom made for her mother who died on December of 1975. It's was during Christmas time when she wrote this.
This letter struck my heart deeply that I wanna go home right away. That I wish it would be Saturday so I can tell and show it to mom. That auntie Fe kept her letter all these years.
This letter is full of hope, sadness and grief of a daughter who longs and wish to touch and be with her mom once more or only that Christmas eve. To lessen the pain and hurt she was feeling that cold, lonely night of December.
I hope this inspires you as well. That is it never too late to show your mom or dad how much you love them. Words can mean so much. Actions take place if you're out of words. Before it's too late, before they're gone....

You had been attending the same school for over 15 years, obviously because you were born in the small town in North Carolina. You were living a pretty normal life, till all of the abductions started happening in 1977. But lets go back a bit. Lets go back to the year 1976. You had been on a night shift on November 18th, 1976. There were many more people than your previous shift. Really the only people there were dropouts, druggies, drug dealers, freaks, and alcoholics. All around the ages 14-22. Everybody was pretty chill with eachother, except for a few people, but that was just the minority. You had been zoned out while staring at the clock, then suddenly heard a DING! Some kid wanted to buy some cigarettes again. You looked at him and he said "Jesus kid, you in a mental insitute or something? Snap out of it." you ringed him up after he asked you for a pack of camels, and then looked at a familiar guy playing pinball. The same blonde that got over 100,000 his last time he came. Everybody started hyping him up, so he's trying to beat 100,000. You remember the mess you had to clean up after some kid accidently knocked over a bunch of beer. You like to not think about how it ruined your favorite pair of shoes. He messed up again, and kicked the machine. You yelled out to him "That thing costs money you know." then he looked at you. His face almost looked angelic. But he had been the jerk of your highschool, so he couldn't be that angelic. He looked away and picked at his pockets. He pulled out nothing. He started walking up to you and started asking for a dime. "Come on, I feed you guys this money all the damn time. Plus you will just get it back." "Then maybe don't waste all your money on pinball. We've gained around $200 with you coming here almost everyday. Thanks for that." and then you smiled while picking up your book. He looked at you in anger, then you looked back up at him. He looked like he was in a bad mood. "Here's a dime." you said handing him a dime.Complete
AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
I just graduated high school and instead of celebrating it with my friends. I choose to go on a bus for an hour's ride to my sister's to celebrate my graduation with her and her friends. What I didn't expect in our celebration though was experiencing my first one-night stand with one of her friends. Her most feared friend, Her Alpha male friend, Her rich classy friend in her friend group. However, it didn't stop from there because the one-night stand led to a whole amazing unexpectedly different summer break from what I had in mind while coming to my sister's. Afterwards, where I started thinking that that was it, where I was expressing my gratitude to Aaron Hernandez for blessing me with the summer break of my whole being that I was going to cherish forever in my life. Listen, just between me and you one day I would have liked to share it with my grandkids but that was my secret to keep. Except before I know it, even miles far away from where it happened. The little secret that was meant for my grandkids only got blown in my face and suddenly it was the world's and everyone's business just like that. Blowing away with every chance, every opportunity, and everything my life hung up on, leaving me in a whole new area of life at only nineteen. The Devil's Angel
It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)Complete
A Beautiful Piece Of Broken Pottery
She wanted to know what pain was, silly little girl just open the dictionary look up the word pain and watch as your life plays like a movie. Watch and see what pain really is. Watch and see how truly broken you are. Keep in mind that you managed to fill those cracks in your heart with pure gold so that you can pick yourself up from the ground below and mold yourself into genuine art that has now become a beautiful piece of broken pottery. Gemma was your normal sun kissed skinned teenager. Who was living her life. Living la vida loca. Believing in the "yolo" principal until one day a tragedy knocked on her door and turned her life upside down. Now with a broken heart, a messed up mind and a blacked soul she must face her everyday life once more, she has to face school, battle friends and harsh words and a bigger brother too Lucas is your normal Spanish mafia kind of looking guy who was living his life to the fullest and working at a cute little coffee shop. There he needs a girl and is taken aback. He is completely awestruck by her beauty and her ability to play the guitar and get lost in a melody that she creates. However reality hits and he becomes disappointed when he knows that he will never see her again until her decides to show his true potential and transfer to an AP math's class and at the back of the class sat his angel. Lucas has some demons as well. Fighting an horrid past, a personality disorder and then another hardship hits him. He has bad chemistry grades and must in list the help of the schools smartest girl but this condition comes as a price. Is Lucas willing to pay? She was ice and he was fire. he carried the lil baby girl paving around trying to stop her from crying. she never stopped and he started to get worried. she soon stopped and he sighed satisfied. he dropped her on her little bed as she kept mute. he went up to get her food. just then, he heard a loud scream and hurried down. he met his aunt with her baby crying. she turned in anger only to find him making food for her baby. what the hell have you done again? she yelled in tears. he was puzzled. nothing. he stammered and she hit him hard on his face. you killed her! she yelled and he staggered backwards in shock. I've always bren a barren all my life and fortunately, I have birth and now, u killed her. she said calmly in tears.
