Everleigh's life has never been completely tickety-boo. Her dad ran away when she was young, and her selfish mum remarried her horrid P.E teacher not long after. 

Her best friend's been acting a bit strange for a little while as well, and soon she sees for herself who a loyal friend is...or isn't.

One day all of this gets too much for her, is it time to follow in her dad's footsteps?

She runs away from her life as she knows it, her face plastered on the front of newspapers and magazines, her only belongings being a laptop and a few random articles of clothing.

A couple of days after she leaves her home, she starts up a blog, and before she knows it, "Run Away Teen," is being read by thousands from all over the globe.

There is something about the stories, and the Light House itself that attracts Abbie even before she finds out a secret, hiding in it. This is a story about Abbie's journey to self-discovery, to learn what love and care truly mean. Being a teenager is not easy nor is peeling off layers of masks, especially when you have them on for so long.
