Fire in the Dark Trying to comprehend everything was like asking me how it felt to be inside my mother's stomach. It's happening right in front of me, but I just cannot do anything but float around in the empty abyss of not knowing anything but listening to the sound of my little heart, beating.. And, wait what happens next. The only thing different? If that beat was of happiness, of a life about to begin... This was different. It was uncertainty. A life that was given so much, even pain. A heart that has turned so cold. Nothing was as bright as the sun if it wasn't a cigarette in the dark or light reflecting off a bottle of hard liquor.
