Journey Of Self Love
I used to think love was all about finding someone to make you feel whole. But as the days passed, watching him laugh with his friends, I started to realize something. I was waiting for someone else to validate me, to give me the affection I craved. But the truth hit me hard-I needed to start with myself. I stopped measuring my worth by his attention, or anyone else's. I stopped seeking approval in the way I looked, the things I said, or the way I walked into a room. Slowly, I learned that the most important love was the one I could give myself. I didn't need his smile or his words to feel seen. It wasn't easy, but I started finding peace in my own reflection. I became more comfortable with who I was-flaws, mistakes, and all. I realized that I didn't need anyone to complete me. I was whole, just as I was. That why I wrote a story about my personal experience with love .

I was lonely. After losing the one person that felt so important to you, you don't want to risk to lose another one, so you tend to push everybody away. That way, it'd be easier not to be hurt or to hurt anyone again. I had decided to live alone, and I honestly don't think I regret it. But when you see someone who seems to be what you are, don't you feel the temptation to talk to them so you could get the company you've grown to miss? And what about somebody that looks the exact opposite of yourself? Don't you want to know their story? I had made a lot of mistakes in my life. Getting close to people was definitely my worst one.

Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. I can now call my life one word: Unpredictable.

The thing is, with me, I used to be that fun loving girl that could make anyone smils, but now, I'm that third wheel. The only difference, I have no friends and everyone ignores me. It turned out that I wouldn't always be that way though. The schools half heart throb, Jake, noticed me. Crazy right? Now I just have to push him away. Remember when I said that a kiss or an award had a time limit on it? Well, if you find the right person to say "I love you" to, that doesn't go away. That doesn't vanish. That lingers on forever if you're especially lucky. Feeding it with more is always helpful, of course, but if you've found the person whose "I love you" never goes away, then you're probably doing your damndest to keep them in your life. So it never really leaves you. What it does do is color every bit of your life with a magical sheen of joy where even bad luck appears to turn around and become good once more. Broke your shoelace? Well, maybe you walked by a lottery machine on the way to buy more and won a thousand bucks. Who knows? Glass is half full and all of that. I didn't have such interesting luck, but I did find a new level of contentment with my life.
Falling Love
People always say be yourself and be happy in your own skin right? Well it's hard to be happy with yourself when your me. When people always stare at you, make remarks and embarrass you. You put on a brave face to cover the pain but the pain will escape one day. When a person who respects you and understands you brings out a side of yourself you never knew existed and things change forever. There's no going back once love enters your life.

I always wondered. If I was doing it right? I also wondered what the point was to all of this. A friend of mine told me that I just needed to "start fresh. A new start, with new friends And a new home. Start again. A second chance" I wondered what he meant by a second chance. But I did not think on it long I went home, unpacked and did what I was told. So... Dear journal, this was his idea too. Write it all down he said. What could possibly go wrong?
