Kate and Sam have been friends since forever even though they couldn't be more different. Its the summer after they graduated from high school, and they'll soon be going their separate ways. Kate is going away to college while Sam has a new crew of wild, interesting friends. Kate is busy working at her parent's diner, and trying to ignore the feelings she still has for her ex-boyfriend/co-worker.
