Alec's hand gripped my wrist hard, "You're coming with me back to my pack." He stated. "No, I'm not." I pushed myself to say this. His nails were now digging into my skin. "Ouch! You're hurting me. Let me go!" I struggled to get my hands free. The man gave me an apologetic look, "Alpha, you're hurting her." Alec retracted his hands while I rubbed my mine. "Okay, let me make this clear," The sadistic smirk showed off his white teeth, "You either come with me or I'll declare war and slaughter your pack. You know I will and can." My jaw dropped at his demands. "Are you serious?" This is absurd. "Do I look like I'm joking." I could tell he wasn't, he meant every word. "I can't leave my family," I stated. "You will. Or else you'll have none. If you don't come, I'll torture your family. Even down to the youngest one." My mind wandered off to my goofy little brother, and he had crossed a line. ~ Leah Indica was always a nice, sweet, innocent girl. She always helped anyone who needed help, it was her passion. "The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.

BOOK ONE OF THE CURSED SERIES "What's your name?" His voice was a delicate murmur in her ear. "Alice," she breathed, gasping as he nipped at her lobe. Their bodies swayed to the music, ignorant of the people around them. She was falling into the abyss of this man, of his seduction and thrall. Her stomach clenched involuntarily as he breathed her name in a throaty groan. "I like that," he murmured as he trailed his tongue down her neck, nipping at the skin at the base of her throat. Alice opened her eyes at the glaring flashing lights above them. She wanted him. Gods how she wanted him... "What's your name?" She dared to ask. Her throat was dry and parched from the heat, from the man that ground his pelvis into her ass... He chuckled, fingers trailing down her right thigh, "so responsive," he murmured as she moaned, gasping for cool air. * * * When Alice seeks out a popular club in hopes of curbing the misery that 'the one that should not be named' had caused, she most certainly didn't anticipate stumbling upon a man who would rock her world in a way that 'the one that should not be named' didn't. Nevermind the prospect of stumbling upon someone who was of another species entirely. Although, she tried to forget about that part. And let's be honest here, it's not exactly easy escaping an Alpha that claims to require Alice for his survival. But like her gramps had told her- "there's nothing like a good kick to the balls." Though, that didn't quite work in her favour a year down the line. How, do you wonder? Well, it's a damn long story to tell.

▪️FANTASY ROMANCE▪️ "I didn't know that I had the right to say your name." "You don't and yet..." The Orc King's words trailed off, his breath coming out in a rough pant. I found myself extremely curious about what he was going to say, so I bravely tried to get him to continue. "And yet?" I probed. "And yet, I find myself intrigued about what it would sound like coming from that insolent mouth of yours." **** Izara was not very happy to find out that she was to be sent to the Orc King as tribute, an apology for something her brother did. Not being one to allow fate to dictate her life, she figured that she could make the most of it. Having always been curious about the Orcs, she is eager to live among them. King Baldur, however, does not share her enthusiasm, finding humans to be selfish and untrustworthy. He does not hold back, and uses every available opportunity to remind her of such. Sylvian and Caleb, two nobles of Radosnia, out for a taste of the unorthodox 'contractual bride' run into a child in need of medical assistance. Sylvian chooses to help her but this action leads to unpredicted consequences when they become the targets of a man trying to find the girl. Will Sylvian manage to protect his rescued ward in the face of danger from this mysterious source? Then again, why did such a young girl end up on the run in the first place? ****Story Extract **** "Enough, Cal," the dark-haired man stepped forward to stand beside his companion, "I think he understands. Get on with it," "Just building the atmosphere," the one addressed as 'Cal' returned a toothy grin to his fellow aristocrat as the grip on his weapon relaxed, "Weren't you getting excited for a moment there? Come on Syl, old man, we're here for the whole ambience, don't you want more?" It was evident that these two shared a bond deeper than that of travelling companions. 'Syl' did not deign to reply but the other was not offended in the least. Once he released the sword, the grey, lacklustre eyes of the other returned to surveying the room. Cal gave an imperceptible shrug, as if he were used to the apathetic ways of the other. He turned to Ruli again, "You! Present us with your finest, no, present us with everything you have," Ruli did not want to risk a second outburst, "A moment, sirs, I'll go fetch them at once," "Are they through here?" "Yes, sirs, please wait," "Out of the way, we'll see for ourselves," "But sir," Ruli protested, throwing a desperate glance at Syl but to no avail this time. The other did not return his glance. After another moment of futile hesitation he moved out of their way. ** CONTENT WARNING: Contains references to assault, depictions of violence **
