(discontinued) In the Shinobi World, a scarce amount of humans believe in the existence of yōkai. Hatake Kakashi is not one of them. However, he isn't exactly the type to bluntly state that they don't exist. After all, a world wherein peace is not a word that can easily be understood is a world with a whole lot more mysteries and therefore, also cannot be understood. During a mission in the Land of Iron, Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Minato find themselves crossing paths with a girl no more than two years younger than the three children. Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.

Ghost of Yōtei and the Black Fanged Oni

8 parts Ongoing Mature

Born under a blood moon, Kuroshi Akumu Sakai, younger brother of Jin Sakai, was marked from birth by his glowing red eyes-an omen whispered to signal a demon's wrath. Feared and isolated, he was exiled by Lord Shimura, who saw darkness growing in the boy. Alone, Kuroshi was taken in by the Kurayami-no-Mure, a clandestine clan of ninjas and assassins. There, he mastered stealth, forbidden arts, and psychological warfare, transforming into a weapon of relentless precision and lethal efficiency. Honor was discarded; only results mattered. When the Mongols invaded Tsushima, it was Kuroshi-not Jin-who killed Khotun Khan, though history erased his deeds. Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto then offered him a choice: live as a mortal, or bear a curse of slowed aging to hunt evil souls. He chose vengeance, becoming the Black Fanged Oni, feared across the lands. In 1587, Lord Saito and the Yōtei Six murdered Master Kengo and his wife, Yone. Kuroshi saved Atsu and her twin Jubei, sending them to safety. Sixteen years later, he would reunite with Atsu, stepping from the shadows to guide her and exact vengeance-a ghost of wrath, moving like water and striking like a storm.
