Virgil Black is the quiet emo who barely talks to anyone besides his close friends, but holds a real talent for singing. Logan Berry is the well-known nerd that everyone comes to when in need of homework help, but can rap like any other popular rapper on the radio.
When Sanders High announces a masked talent show, both boys are given the opportunity of a life time to show who they really are. With the help of their friends along the way, Virgil and Logan together are able to find their voice, and a new blooming romance.

Don't hate me, only a few of the sides are babies. Well.. three of them. And Thomas isnt in this story. 😂 Poor Thomas, he gets left out of most Fanders' stories. Well the baby sides are none other than Virgil, Patton and Janus! In this story, Logan, Roman and Remus are all roommates. In Logan's house. The twins don't have their own home so they live with Logan. And one day, really randomly, a knock on the door had gotten their attention. Like a normal person, Logan answered the door. He was confused when he seen a card board box about half his size with tiny holes in the top and a letter taped to it. Logan opened the letter and read it. Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same.
