Scribe is injured in a mission and Aizawa must form an unusual alliance to save her.

Excerpt:

The slight figure by her bed at first reminded him of the boys standing by his desk. He frowned. None of them could be here. So who...? Even as he wondered it, the figure turned.

Aizawa's eyes blazed and he launched himself forward, the capture scarf looping around the dark figure at the same moment. His momentum carried him forward and they both crashed into the wall, Aizawa recovering first, his forearm at the throat of the man with the red eyes and shaggy gray hair. "What are you doing here, Shigaraki?"

Shigaraki glowered at him, but he didn't resist the bonds of the capture scarf or the elbow at his throat. "What do you think I'm doing here?" He growled. "I came to see her." He jerked his head at the bed. He returned his attention to Aizawa. "And to figure out how the hell you let this happen to her?"

Scribe has spent her entire life in shame after a single incident during her exchange year at UA resulted in her expulsion from the school. She's dreamed of schoolmate Shota Aizawa ever since, hoping he will forgive her and come for her. Then the USJ incident unexpectedly drags her back into the midst of Japanese hero work from her American bookstore. Except Aizawa isn't the man who comes for her afterward. EXCERPT: "Can I help you?" His face was hidden by the hoodie, but she had an odd feeling he wasn't as old as she'd thought. She could see his mouth. It was wide and generous, but the lips were oddly scarred and chapped looking. "You're the one they call Scribe, aren't you?" He grinned lazily. "I've heard of you." "Really?" She sat up straighter. Her work with heroes was not well known, even though All Might had paid her a visit or two here at the bookstore. For the most part, she was just hero support, and only on very rare occasions. She peered at the hooded figure curiously. "From who?" "We have mutual friends. In Japan." He cocked his head thoughtfully. "I could swear I've met you before. You're very familiar." She had an odd feeling he was right. Though she couldn't quite place him...maybe if he took off his hoodie, though... "You weren't by chance in Japan recently, were you?" He reached across the desk, taking her hand in his as if it were the most natural thing in the world. And I'm letting him. Scribe felt a strange tingle where he touched her skin. It was not an unpleasant sensation. "I... No. I wasn't in Japan." "Really?" He tilted his head to one side and with his free hand, he pushed back the hoodie, revealing a blue-white shock of hair and red eyes. "I could swear I saw you...but maybe sensed is a more appropriate word. Yes, I could swear I sensed you at the USJ when I was taking care of business with All Might and Eraserhead." She gasped, trying to stand, but he laughed. "Don't move too much, pretty. I don't want to hurt you."

Shouta Aizawa takes notice to how his best friend, Hizashi Yamada, seems to be struggling with his past recently. Shortly after he finds out and attempts to grow closer to him like they had been in the past, Hizashi mysteriously disappears without a trace. If Shouta can even find him again, will he be the same? ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● He didn't seem to notice as he entered the room completely, still shaking and shivering. It looked like he was crying, but he wasn't making any noise. Shouta noticed a burnt smell, concealing a cough. It was enough of a sound to make Hizashi notice him, pure terror in his eyes as he used his arms to shield his face and neck. "Zashi, it's me, it's alright." It was obvious that he didn't recognise him in the slightest. Hizashi was completely frozen as Shouta came closer to him, hoping for some sort of realisation. Still nothing. He looked over his friend, scanning for injuries. He had scrapes and bruises, but nothing too bad. At least, that's what he thought until Hizashi bolted past him to get to the door. His uncoordinated legs fell out from under him and he crashed back to the ground. Shouta put a hand to his shoulder in an attempt to calm him down, but he clawed desperately and flipped over, thrashing around to get Shouta off of him. Shouta held on. He looked into Hizashi's eyes, then down his neck. It was the source of the burning smell, and looking at it made him sick. ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● TW: Alcohol, violence, blood, language None of the art shown is mine!

Shouta felt an instant connection with Hizashi, but if he ever foumd out who he truly was, it would tear both of their worlds apart. ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● "In all honesty, you're the only person I've found myself to care about. I know it sounds bad but I don't want anyone to be my friend, or care about me, or even to have someone of my own to give a shit about. Hell, I don't even care about myself anymore." He paused, shifting positions slightly. "I have no idea why, but you really are my whole world, Zashi. I just met you, so I don't get it. I don't know why I care about you so damn much." Hizashi cupped Shouta's face in his hands, comforting him while he spoke. "Is that what love is?" He asked, inching closer to Hizashi and putting his own arm around him and hugging him tightly. "Sounds like it to me." Hizashi whispered, hugging him back. *If you really loved him, would you be lying to him about who you are? Even though you know what'll happen if you're found out? He wouldn't love you. You'll only hurt him.* ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● ●○°•♡•°○● This story is loosely based on the song Oh Ana by Mother Mother!
