The slight figure by her bed at first reminded him of the boys standing by his desk. He frowned. None of them could be here. So who...? Even as he wondered it, the figure turned.
Aizawa's eyes blazed and he launched himself forward, the capture scarf looping around the dark figure at the same moment. His momentum carried him forward and they both crashed into the wall, Aizawa recovering first, his forearm at the throat of the man with the red eyes and shaggy gray hair. "What are you doing here, Shigaraki?"
Shigaraki glowered at him, but he didn't resist the bonds of the capture scarf or the elbow at his throat. "What do you think I'm doing here?" He growled. "I came to see her." He jerked his head at the bed. He returned his attention to Aizawa. "And to figure out how the hell you let this happen to her?"

"WATCH OUT!" His head whipped around to the voice but didn't see a face, his back hit the pavement and he closed his eyes when he collided with the ground. "I am terribly sorry, are you hurt, sir?" a woman's voice asked. Aizawa opened his eyes and saw a tall, thin woman standing over him. His eyes went huge staring up at her, who was she? and why did she have the audacity to mow him down? "Sir?" She asked again, holding out her hand. The sun was too bright upon her features to make out too much but he took the offered hand and then came face to face with the lady who he had run into. Her hair was a peachy blode and her tan skin seemed to glow in he sunlight and he could hear the ruffling of feathers behind her...was she...was she a...bird? "I really am sorry about this." Aizawa took a moment to respond, still flabberghasted from the fact that a bird like woman had knocked him down. He looked down at his feet and then back up at her, the embarassment sinking in. Aizawa Shota encounters an old enemy, the one girl who got the better of him back in high school. A simple little girl with a strange quirk that seemed weak, she nonetheless was the only one who ever humiliated him during school. What will he do now that the only woman who ever made him do something he didn't want to do is back at UA? Excerpt: "The way her quirk works is that whatever she writes comes true." All Might was explaining to the class. "That's not exactly right." Aizawa kept his eyes closed. "No?" All Might sounded surprised. "Not exactly." Scribe spoke up, and he noted that her voice was stronger than he'd anticipated. For some reason that did please him. Maybe he really didn't want her to be scared of him. Scribe has spent her entire life in shame after a single incident during her exchange year at UA resulted in her expulsion from the school. She's dreamed of schoolmate Shota Aizawa ever since, hoping he will forgive her and come for her. Then the USJ incident unexpectedly drags her back into the midst of Japanese hero work from her American bookstore. Except Aizawa isn't the man who comes for her afterward. EXCERPT: "Can I help you?" His face was hidden by the hoodie, but she had an odd feeling he wasn't as old as she'd thought. She could see his mouth. It was wide and generous, but the lips were oddly scarred and chapped looking. "You're the one they call Scribe, aren't you?" He grinned lazily. "I've heard of you." "Really?" She sat up straighter. Her work with heroes was not well known, even though All Might had paid her a visit or two here at the bookstore. For the most part, she was just hero support, and only on very rare occasions. She peered at the hooded figure curiously. "From who?" "We have mutual friends. In Japan." He cocked his head thoughtfully. "I could swear I've met you before. You're very familiar." She had an odd feeling he was right. Though she couldn't quite place him...maybe if he took off his hoodie, though... "You weren't by chance in Japan recently, were you?" He reached across the desk, taking her hand in his as if it were the most natural thing in the world. And I'm letting him. Scribe felt a strange tingle where he touched her skin. It was not an unpleasant sensation. "I... No. I wasn't in Japan." "Really?" He tilted his head to one side and with his free hand, he pushed back the hoodie, revealing a blue-white shock of hair and red eyes. "I could swear I saw you...but maybe sensed is a more appropriate word. Yes, I could swear I sensed you at the USJ when I was taking care of business with All Might and Eraserhead."
