Hundreds or even thousands of years before the Darkling sorcerer Darken battled the evil wizard Ghim, was the Dark Age. Etyria was on it's last legs, battling an overwhelming horde of darklings with one purpose: destroy. Jack Winterflieg, captain of the Wyvern Guard, led his force in a final stand against the swarm of darklings attacking the Citadel. His mission was to save the prince, but other things got in the way.
