Racism. A COLLLOSAL issue constantly faced by people of colour within today's society.
Read with me as I discuss racism through the eyes of a south Asian teenage girl. Being a teenager is hard already, there is so much to think about like school, grades, friendships, drama, relationships - we don't need racism to add to our problems. Unfortunately that's the reality of this world, I'm just here to figure out how to face it.
Join me on my journey to figure out what to do when faced with racial- bias, let me warn you it's going to be messy. It isn't your stereotypical coming of age story, it will be hard. But what in life isn't?
Ignorance isn't bliss but I can assure you education is power.
