After the death of his mother he's left living alone with his abusive, alcoholic father who has an unhealthy obsession with dog-fighting. Elijah, only four years old when his mother dies, endures years of emotional and physical abuse from his father, treated like a "filthy mutt".
A/N: This is the origin story of one of my original characters, the events that led to his many mental illnesses and violent tenancies. This is an 18+ story as it includes many triggering themes such as suicide, alcohol abuse, intense violence, and physical and emotional abuse.
