Robert, also at the internship, has a crush on Maria but struggles to open up about his feelings. Maria's father does not know how to handle his daughter's new found freedom. Due to this, he tries to place obstacles in Maria's plans. Will Maria be able to balance her internship, her new-found crush, and her father's expectations while still trying to live her life?

The first year of college is a learning experience in and out of the classroom, as Fran is quickly finding. She will have to go through heart break and stress. Things will change and someone will end up getting hurt. At the same time, Maria's best friend, Victoria is twenty four and left school at eighteen. She's going from job to job. Pretty much the same way she is with men. She can never settle down. Until she realized that she has fallen for someone she never expected to fall for.

She also mentions that she made friends while living there and hopes that Y/N can make friends too, since he hasn't had any friends since childhood.
