All Arabella needs to do is get through her final year of high school, and then she can finally rid herself of all the bad things that happened to her in the past year. Her nightmares are back, her mom is gone, her dad is constantly worried she's going to kill herself, and there's a new boy named Gray who can't seem to leave her alone. To top it all off, the more Gray inserts himself into her life, the more inexplicable things begin to happen. Just one more year, how hard can it be? *** "Bambi," Gray rasped. His voice was cold and sounded a million miles away, not the Gray I met three months ago- not the Gray I had fallen so deeply in love with. His blue eyes that stood out against his deep brown curls he had framing his face were now as cold as stone. He still calls you Bambi, he still cares somewhere deep inside of him. Deep was too far for me to grab. "Please," I breathed through the suffocating tears and numbness of my skin. I would freeze to death if he didn't kill me first. "Gray, please don't do this." His eyes looked over me, looking at what I had become. He didn't flinch, did not dare caress my face like he would have done before. He was gone, completely. "It's already done," he spat.

"I wouldn't mind watching you. Maybe we could tan together this summer." He suggested. "Without having tan lines." I could feel the smirk playing on his lips. I lightly slapped his chest. "Don't ruin my mood with your cockiness." "I think I made it a lot better." "Well, keep going and you'll have to deal with your boner yourself." I teased. "Why does it always come back to my boner?" He asked with a smile playing on his lips. "Because it's just so huge." I said absentmindedly. "Is it now?" He raised a brow at me. I stripped myself away from him and pouted as I folded my arms across my chest. "That's not what I was supposed to say." "Hmm," He nodded. "What were you supposed to say then?" "That it's just as annoying as you." I laughed. SUMMARY: After the death of her father, Blake moves in with her estranged mother and twin sister. Coping with her father's death was one thing and being involved in dirty work is another. Add a bad boy to fall for on her plate and things can't be more messed up. She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not? Give it a few chapters, nobody gets the hang of writing their first book immediately. It gets better story wise and writing wise, I promise. HIGHEST RANKING #1
