"Love reigns, but we all know it is blind and evil."

It's been two whole years since Ayleth last saw Loki. Two whole dreadful years without his dashing smile and comforting caresses. After being attached to one anothers hips since they were young children, two years without him seemed like two millenniums. The poor maiden was heartbroken and damaged; she had lost her way in the world until one day, he finally returned. It seemed as though that he had come back from the dead; nobody thrilled with his unexpected visit except for her. For he had changed into something dark. Something vile and despicable. He wasn't the mischievous raven-haired boy she fell in love with oh-so long ago, he was malevolent, cunning; his harmless pranks no longer so harmless as they were more or less acts of murder. A twisted man he is now, and so blind to everything around him. A cloud of disgust, rage, and revenge is constantly blocking his vision from the damage he causes. Ayleth knows too well that he is far from turning back, but that won't stop her from trying. But, the God of Lies and deceit has a tongue of sliver, and when he finally claims the throne, rips it from the All Father's fragile hands, he makes her his queen and she doesn't reject. Though it comes at a cost. If she wants his love, then she must be as ruthless as he. Allowing the God of Lies into your mind to manipulate your thoughts is not the path to go down if one wishes to keep their sanity.
