The third and final installment of the Alpha Eyes series.
Donovan, son of Karina and Lucas, has dedicated his life to the military. As leader of the most elite Special Forces team, he is a man focused on each mission. When his mother grounds his team to help a girl brought to his family for protection,  he treats the situation as another mission. It's the only way he can stomach such a demeaning assignment. Little does he know that Zoey is more important than he thinks.

Zoey's life has been a living hell for the past 7 years, starting from the moment her mate rejected her but refuses to let her accept the rejection. Forced to stay for the sake of appearances, she's endured the worst kind of emotional torture. When her parents find a way to sneak her out of her mate's pack, she dares to hope again.
Her parents take her to their lycan friends, the one group who can truly hide her from her ex. When she meets Donovan, he thinks his parents are trying to force a mate relationship and immediately despises her. Yet it's his duty (along with his team) to protect her and find a way for her to be able to accept her mate's rejection. Through daily interactions and curt conversations, she begins to understand the military man forced to protect her.

A friendship begins to form, fueled by the reality that she is still technically a mated wolf. Unless she officially severs the bond with her ex mate, she will never be free to find her second chance mate. Zoey wants to be free to find love. Donovan wants to be free to return to his missions. I closed my eyes ready for my death when I heard a very loud and dangerous growl, I swear I felt the ground under me shook by it. I opened my eyes quickly to see what it is, but I couldn't believe my eyes, I just couldn't. even in this state, me crying mess, in pain, this was just like a dream. H-how is that possible?
