In this world, you learn of your soulmate at age 16. You get an hour in their body per soulmate - it's only in a dream world similar to reality, though. 

On Logan's birthday, he, Roman, Patton, and Virgil get their dreams. It is customary to leave a basic introduction card next to your bed, as the Dream Scape copies reality. One of the four, however, gives no hint to who he is. 

Follow the group as they begin the search for each other. 

There are trigger warnings by chapter. 

After reviewing the Wattpad guidelines, I have decided it is best if I add a Mature warning to this story. This is due to potentially triggering themes related to mental health and very very brief conversations about sexual relations.

Roman Kingsley is just a simple boy trying to survive the horrors of high school. At home, he's trying to survive the horrors of his brother. One day as he walks home, he hears someone singing his song. He looks around only to discover that the person singing his song is none other than the son of a feared gang leader, Virgil Vanta. This started out as Prinxiety but now it's mainly Prinxiety, Demus, Rem&Ems (also I'm a lazy bitch that isn't creative enough to come up with original songs so enjoy the musicals and/or random songs I found) (also also, there are many MANY spelling mistakes, i dont care if you point them out)

Soulmate au. Whatever is on your soulmates skin appears on yours. Appart from birthmarks and freckles and other scars you're born with. You get your soulmates marks after the age of four. Logan Lovell doesn't care about soulmates. The fact that someone out there is made for you is a ridiculous concept to him, one that he could never understand. Maybe that's part of the reason. Him, personally, wouldn't seek out his soulmate. But if he were to run into them...who knows? On the other hand, Patton Winters believes that soulmates are sacred and wholesome and wonderful as a concept! He'd always fantasised about what his soulmate would look like and what kind of girl she'd be. But he's never heard from her, no matter how many times he tried to talk to her. Patton lives in a world where the first words your soulmate says to you is written on your skin. The permentant presence of the words 'You're in my seat' on his thigh had yet to disappear until his soulmate utters them one day. Deep down he dreaded that day. You see, Patton had no interest in a romantic relationship which was abnormal in a world ruled by the soulmate system. Virgil hated the soulmate system. He hated it because it gave him the words 'well aren't you a ray of sunshine' printed boldly on his forehead. Luckily for him, foundation was his best friend (and his only friend, for that matter). He never showed it, but he longed for the day his soulmate would sweep the aggravating statement off his forehead and him off his feet. Logan, to put it simply, was married to his work. A love interest didn't interest him in the slightest. The only heed he took that the soulmate system existed was the thinly printed 'what did you say?' on his left palm. He heard that statement a lot but the mild annoyance on his hand was yet to disappear. Roman lived up to his name as a big romantic. In his eyes, the soulmate system was the best thing to happen to him, so the fact that the words written on his collarbone were 'go away' really burst his bubble. The thought of spending his life with his 'other half' was enthralling to him, but the fact his dad expected him to settle down with a nice girl was terrifying. [multishippers, get your asses in here. this one's for you 💖] Roman Trente has a few things. A roommate that he's gotten fond of. Well, as fond as you can be of a short, emo nightmare. Fond nonetheless. They're as close as he'd like them to be. Which is very, very close. A job, where he gets to see that one cute coworker every day, and they can trade snarky comments about whatever sparks their interest that day. Nothing like handing someone a hot coffee while a hot guy whispers hot takes in your ear. A secret, double life, fighting the supervillain Illusion. Who, it just so happens, has the most adorable smile and laugh and eyes and - superheroes were not supposed to be attracted to the very people trying to hurt their city, right? Nor were they supposed to help them defend it against an even worse, more deadly one. Roman Trente has, in summary, the perfect life. Too bad soulmates are a thing. ~ a few things: 1) read the a/n! 2) this is not just 'who gets the guy' there's a story here as well. also starting with chapter 14 there's some 'glitches' in the text! those are purposeful. i did hide some code in there (not much most of it is number spam) so study those if you want!! scroll past them too and you won't miss much, they're basically an easter egg :) that's all! thanks for your interest yall :)))
