The war with Gaea has finally ended, but with war comes death and survivors, and in demigod Percy Jackson's case, survivor's guilt.
His girlfriend, Annabeth Chase, died in a Greek Fire attack that he feels responsible for. At the end of the summer he's forced to move back in with his mother and complete his schooling, but he is missing half of himself. 
What will happen when he finds out that there's a possibility of getting her back? What will he do to see her again?
