Max a 15 year old boy, he is short but he wants people think he is a cool person than a short boy. He tries to be cool, ever since 7th grade. He was cool to his best friend Noah, but when Noah moves away, Max feels lonely. He tried harder to be cool, but it never works still. When he goes home he plops onto the bed trying to text Noah, who nevers texts back. Max keeps trying to contact Noah until he loses hope after 8th grade. Max had so many negative thoughts and kept hoping one day he will return. Noah was the first boy max fell in love with, well first person he ever feel in love with. Max becomes friends with Nikki, Audrey, and Jordan when he becomes a freshmen (He is a freshmen now.) He still tries to be cool, but still doesn't work. But when people started to talk about a new kid coming to his school, Max hoped it was Noah, but loses hope when people said it probably wasn't true. But when his friend Nikki bumps into a guy and starts talking and asking questions about him, Max realized Noah is back. Will he tell his friends about him more about Noah and why he wants to be cool? Will Noah and Max become friends or even something more?
