A New Beginning

Elijah and Anya met in the New World and fell in love, but there were some complications. When Elijah is turned he believes that Anya died because that's what he was told. He later, much later.. a thousand years to be exact, discovers that Anya is very much alive and no longer human, obviously. This doesn't stop him from being shocked and overjoyed that his love is still "alive", but will things be the same? Can Elijah convince Anya that he didn't abandon her and he still loves her just as much as when they met? Well read to find out :) It'll alternate between the past and present.
