When crowned princess (Y/n) finally rebels and leaves the castle walls, she finds herself exploring her kingdom in excitement and joy. Only to be disappointed of what she finds. Rotten apples, everywhere she looks. The beautiful image of her kingdom is now forever stained in her mind.
After running into trouble with the ruler of the Ruined Kingdom, she's forced to flee her home with a group of misfits to try to survive and prevent Nightmare, the feared King, from waging war on all four Kingdoms. Along the journey she faces hardships and predicaments that broke her bonds with her newfound friends, and ultimately leads herself to the hands of the enemy.
