"JUST GET OUT. GET OUT!!"

I flinched as his harsh voice echos throughout the room. I gather my courage together and look him dead in his eyes.

"Fine. I'll leave. I'll leave and never come back. Is that what you want?"

I stood there staring at his straight face void of any emotions. I tried to see if he felt something, anything towards me right now, but I see nothing. Nothing at all.

"IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT, ADRIANO?!"

He keeps staring at me but says nothing. I abruptly turn around and run out of the mansion door into the woods. Behind me, I could hear him raging and calling my name, but I turn a deaf ear to him. I start running faster before I shift and vanish into the darkness. The darkness I've always known as home.
