When you are first get diagnosed with cancer, you are given a stack of leaflets, appointment cards and bombarded by cold hard facts which you do not absorb. Instead this project aims to have a less clinical approach, giving first-hand accounts from real people who have experienced cancer or looked after them. I want to write a moving and painfully funny series collated of non-fictional accounts, chronicling several women's battles with their respective cancer's.
