6 years after her father died, Natalia Cruz has been apart of a group called 'The Whisperers'. After the many obstacles she had to not only endure but overcome, she had had enough. No longer wanting to be with them, she found an opportunity to leave and took it. It was time to find a different way of living. Not long after did she come across a woman in need. She offered to help just as her people showed up. In order to avoid a horde, they take her to their camp. Hilltop was unlike anything she'd ever seen before. Another way of life was what she had been looking for wasn't it? Even after leaving, the whispers and ghosts of the past haunted her. Could she ever truly be content even after everything she's done? Everything she's lost? In the end, what will she become? *I don't own any of the characters from TWD or the similar story-lines. When the dead started rising three years ago MacKenzie was stuck on her own for 6 months until she finally her dad and brother. Now she is traveling back to the Alexandria safe zone after a month with a truck full of supplies and a new companion. When she reached Alexandria she was amazed to realize that a new group of survivors had been let in. While she loved the chance to meet new people, especially when the dead were surrounding them, one person on the new group caught her attention. Daryl Dixon. Bowman, Hunter and loyal to a fault to his group. Having next to no social skills he found himself mesmerized with the young gothic woman who had appeared at the gates with a truck full of food, plants, trees, and a dog. Just because the zombie apocalypse has happened, it doesn't mean that all hope is lost. Read as Daryl and Kenzie discover that life may throw curve balls at them, but life would always prevail.
