This story takes place not long after Elena becomes Queen of Avalor. Elena, Isa and their friends (including Sofia, Amber and James) travel to Freezenburg to form an alliance with Crowned Princess Hildegard (who became Crowned Princess when her sister Astrid gave up her claim to the throne). And they will discover that a threat looms in the future that will cause an Interdimensional Conflict and they must align themselves with a faction called the United Republics of Earth to fight against the threat.
