*FLASH* I rise, slowly gaining speed, into the air. Power emanating from me as I began my apocalypse. I am tired, young, done with it all. *Pan Down* Older wiser me trying to talk myself down from this atrocity but I already know the outcome. *Flash back to the “present”* I shutter trying to shade this vision from a fractured life lived out of times constraints. I sit on the bank of this enormous swamp that is mostly surrounded this old house. I see a memory flash before my eyes, Polymnia, my wife, she cooks breakfast as I read…coming out of the daze I hit my bowl again and sink into the sounds of the swamp. I realize it’s late and I’m tired. I head back upstairs to the bedroom that’s very sizable. But I pay no attention to it. As I fall asleep sleep heavy thoughts lie on my weary brow and sink into sleep with me. Rising…. I wake up sweating. “No not again” is all I can utter.

IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. I blow out air and fall over. * * * * 13 year old Colten, takes a shortcut through the field next to his house on his way home. But why can't he reach his destination?
