Amelia "Isadora" Swan, a level headed, mature, kind female who ranked the highest marks in the Psychology course in Harvard. She has her whole life ahead of her, ignoring everything that came from a toxic, abusive relationship she had before graduating. She ended up being able to graduate early, only a few months after her younger sister's and her own birthday. She hitched a flight from Massachusetts to Washington and was ready to start work at a local therapy office.

Soon after Jacob Black, her younger sister's friend, start ignoring Bella after a man named "Sam" told him to stop being friends with her, the two sisters drive over to his house with different approaches.
